Exports declined

Decline in Dutch exports of fruits and vegetables during the first semester.

From January to June 2013, Dutch exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 898 million pounds, against 985 million pounds for the same period in 2012. A decrease of about 9%. The only ones who escape the decline are onions and products for industrial use.

By comparing the first semester of years 2012 and 2013, it appears that:
 
- Exports to Germany decreased by 5%, passing from 379 to 362 million kg.
- Exports to the United Kingdom decreased by 5%, passing from 135 to 129 million kg.
- Exports to Russia fell by 35%, passing from 75 to 49 million kg.
- Exports to France increased by 11%, passing from 50 to 55 million kg.
- Exports to Sweden decreased by 22%, passing from 53 to 41 million kg.
- Exports to Italy increased by 6%, passing from 29 to 30 million kg.
- Exports to Poland have declined by 10%, passing from 38 to 34 million kg.
